NZS 5418.1 – Transportation containers for hazardous substances – Specification for tanks for the multi-modal transportation of hazardous liquids

Requirements for design, construction, testing, and use of rigid portable metal tanks of greater than 450 L capacity for the carriage of hazardous liquids within New Zealand by any combination of road, rail and sea, but not air. Requirements are specifically for Type 1 tanks and the lower pressure-rated Type 2 tanks are included by inference. Not intended to cover tanks for use in one transport mode only.
