AS 1176.2 – Textiles – Methods of test for combustion properties, Part 2: The determination of burning time of textile materials
Uses a vertical strip of fabric which is ignited at the bottom. The time is measured for the flame to pass from one marked thread to another a stated distance above the lower one. Does not measure heat output and does not provide for testing of cords or tassels.
