AS 2060 – Pressure sensitive adhesive masking tapes

Applies to tapes for protection of surfaces during painting and finishing operations. Dimensions and tolerances, packaging, storage, and selection and preparation of test samples are covered, and mandatory requirements are specified for adhesion strength, breaking strength and low speed unwind, and optional requirements for length, thickness, quickstick, elongation, holding power, high speed unwind, staining, oven performance, freedom from deleterious effects on plastics, and stability after accelerated ageing.
