Applies to spectacle lenses whether uncut or finished, ‘white’ or tinted and mounted in a frame or otherwise. It does not apply to contact lenses. Requirements are given for material, measurement of lens power, optical centration of uncut and finished lens, lens thickness and form, shape and size, and glazing.
