AS 3871.6 – Magnetic tape sound recording and reproducing systems – Reel-to-reel systems

Specifies mechanical and dimensional requirements of reels and hubs. Specifies track patterns, their position on tape of a given width, and allocates channels to each magnetic track with the track pattern. This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from IEC 94-6:1985.
