BS 5547 – Specification for portable bore-hole logging equipment (down to 300 m): general characteristics
The equipment consists of easily transportable autonomous components for measurement of rock radioactivity or for measurements concerned with the evaluation and working of deposits. The equipment includes measuring probes, a device for the mechanical and electrical connection of the probe with the measuring equipment; a radiometric indicator (counting ratemeter); and possibly a recording device (analogue type).
