BS 5598-4 – Methods of sampling and test for halogenated hydrocarbons. Determination of acidity, titrimetric method

Titration of an aqueous extract of a test portion with standard volumetric sodium hydroxide solution. Not applicable to halogenated hydrocarbons which hydrolyse at room temperature.
