Determination in crude grades of free caustic, total and carbonate alkalinity, acidity and two methods (below and above 500 mg/kg of iron) for sugars (also applicable to refined grades) and, in technical and dynamite grades, of nitrogen, diethyl ether extract and total chloride, and a sulphuric acid test.
