NZS 6708.2 – Specification for tungsten filament lamps for domestic and similar general lighting purposes – Safety requirements

Deals with insulation, electric shock protection, tolerance to high voltage surges, temperature rise, strength, safety on failure, and the essential dimensions for co-ordination with lampholders. Includes the methods for showing compliance on the basis of test records and whole product appraisal for certification purposes, and details of a procedure for limited assessment of batches. Identical to IEC 60432:1984 with modifications for New Zealand.
